How it works

Your microphone audio streams to this server, where open-source speech models turn it into text. No cloud service is involved.

Hybrid (default)
Words appear instantly (Vosk), then each sentence is rewritten with punctuation by Whisper a moment later.
Live
Fastest: instant words from Vosk only, with light formatting.
Accurate
Whisper only: text appears after each pause. Works for every language in the list, including auto-detect.

Privacy. Recordings are kept in memory while they are transcribed and deleted afterwards. Only if you switch on Keep on server is the audio and/or text saved on this server. Store keeps a transcript in this browser only.

Shortcuts: Space start/stop · Esc stop · Ctrl+C with nothing selected copies the transcript.
